Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 322 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in May 2024; and on average, these detached homes sold for $2,442,386.
Last year, in May 2023, Toronto MLS® reported 359 freehold detached home sales across Toronto – which is a 10% decrease volume for this year. It was also reported that on average, freehold detached homes sold for $2,587,653 in May 2023 – and that’s a 6% decrease in sale prices for this May.
With respect to semi-detached homes… Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 249 semi-detached home sales in May 2024; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,543,391 last month.
That compares to 250 semi-detached home sales in May 2023 – which is a 0.4% decrease in volume for this year. But again, it was also reported that on average, semi-detached homes sold for $1,547,032 in May 2023 – and that’s an 0.2% decrease in sale prices for this May.
With respect to condo sales, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 803 condo sales in May 2024; and on average, these condos sold for $863,985 last month.
In May 2023, there were 1,025 condo sales – which is a 22% decrease in volume for this year. On average, these condos sold for $881,730 – and that’s a 2% decrease in sale prices for this May!
