In June, the Toronto real estate market for detached, semi-detached, and condos remained strong.
Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 358 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in June 2021, and on average, these detached homes sold for $2,312,923.
Last year, in June 2020, Toronto MLS® reported 334 freehold detached home sales across Toronto, a 7% increase in volume for this year. It was also reported, on average, that freehold detached homes sold for $2,026,460 in June 2020 – and that’s a 14% increase in sale prices for this June.
Concerning semi-detached homes, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 322 semi-detached home sales in June 2021; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,449,118 last month.
That compares to 267 semi-detached home sales in June 2020, a 21% increase in volume for this year. It was also reported that, on average, semi-detached homes sold for $1,377,210 in June 2020 – and that’s a 5% increase in sale prices for this June.
Concerning condo sales, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 1,191 condo sales in June 2021, and on average, these condos sold for $811,400 last month.
In June 2020, there were 798 condo sales – which is a 49% increase in volume for this year. On average, these condos sold for $776,169– and that’s a 5% increase in sale prices for this June.
