Fiverr is an online marketplace that you can find a freelancer to do a task for $5. Think Elance but everything has a fixed price of $5.
Just like Elance you can find freelancers ranging from writers to graphic designers to photographers and even social media marketers. The site has been set up to make it as easy as possible to find a providers. You can either search through the tasks that others are offering to do or you can post a request. In my case i was looking for someone to edit a testimonial video so i just searched for someone offering to do a task.
Fiverr posts the feedback from other buyers on the provider’s profile so you can evaluate them before you hire them. You have the choice to either pay through your PayPal account or use a credit card.
Just recently I hired a Fiverr freelancer to splice together a testimonial video and add an intro and closing slide. I am quite happy with the outcome it was quick, easy, and only cost me $5. We are not talking top, top quality but for my purposes and for only $5 it was a steal. To do that myself it would have taken me probably a good hour. Here in a matter of maybe 10-15 minutes of working time i was able to set up my account select my provider and send him all the necessary files and directions.
