Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 85 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in January 2024; and on average, these detached homes sold for $2,180,404.
Last year, in January 2023, Toronto MLS® reported 93 freehold detached home sales across Toronto – which is a 9% decrease in volume for this year. It was also reported that on average, freehold detached homes sold for $1,879,728 in December 2023 – and that’s a 16% decrease in sale prices for this January.
With respect to semi-detached homes… Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 67 semi-detached home sales in January 2024; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,347,999 last month.
That compares to 68 semi-detached home sales in January 2023 – which is a 1% decrease in volume for this year. But again, it was also reported that on average, semi-detached homes sold for $1,362,690 in January 2023 – and that’s an 1% decrease in sale prices for this January.
With respect to condo sales, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 513 condo sales in January 2024; and on average, these condos sold for $802,220 last month.
In January 2023, there were 337 condo sales – which is a 52% increase in volume for this year. On average, these condos sold for $804,972 – and that’s a 0.3% decrease in sale prices for this January!
