Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 93 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in January 2023; and on average, these detached homes sold for $1,879,728.

Last year, in January 2022, Toronto MLS® reported 147 freehold detached home sales across Toronto – which is a 37% decrease in volume for this year. It was also reported that on average, freehold detached homes sold for $2,410,291 in January 2022 – and that’s a 22% decrease in sale prices for this January.

With respect to semi-detached homes… Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 68 semi-detached home sales in January 2023; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,362,690 last month.

That compares to 111 semi-detached home sales in January 2022 – which is a 39% decrease in volume for this year. But again, it was also reported that on average, semi-detached homes sold for $1,618,090 in January 2022 – and that’s an 16% decrease in sale prices for this January.

With respect to condo sales, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 337 condo sales in January 2023; and on average, these condos sold for $804,972 last month.

In January 2022, there were 859 condo sales – which is a 61% decrease in volume for this year. On average, these condos sold for $833,858 – and that’s a 3% decrease in sale prices for this January!
