History.
The development of Wallace Emerson began with the Canadian Pacific and National railway lines, which began servicing to this area in the late 1800’s. The railway lines attracted industries, which created jobs, which of course attracted people to settle in the area. However, this neighbourhood was not clearly defined until the 1970’s, as the only part that was recognized was the major intersection- Wallace and Emerson.
