The focal point of the High Park neighbourhood is the landmark park after which this neighbourhood is named. Long considered the gateway to Toronto’s west-end the High Park neighbourhood is popular with singles, couples and families. This neighbourhood has it all from its iconic park, highly regarded schools, the local St. Josephs Hospital, easy access to the Bloor subway line and nearby shopping destinations in Bloor West Village and Roncesvalles Village. High Park also contains a diverse housing mix including some of the prettier semi-detached and detached homes in Toronto as well as a large number of multi-plex homes and brownstone walk-up apartment buildings. There are also a large number of high-rise rental apartment buildings in High Park just north of Bloor Street.
