Ted is part of the JOHNSTON-NICHOLSON-THOMPSON team, taking the lead, servicing the Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas and based in Bobcaygeon. Ted is a transplant to the area from his hometown, Toronto. A city boy at heart he is a cottager in his soul. By profession an Urban Planner, he graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical University. Dedicated to community development, he has an addiction to real estate, renovation and restoration. Ted and his husband Tim live on an old cottage estate built in 1905, The Lakehouse, featured in several magazines.  Pre-real estate, Ted was the Executive Director of Canada Blooms, the successful Toronto Flower and Garden Show.  As a leadership coach and strategist, he was dedicated to helping others, organizations and businesses realize their full potential. For several years Ted wrote Tool Shed, for Gardening Life, Canada’s leading garden magazine. Ted applies all his previous work experience and knowledge to his real estate career. There is not much he cannot help you with. Passionate about his community, using his connections to see his clients not just settled in the ideal home or cottage, but quickly becoming part of the area. Ted cares about his clients and doing the best for them in all areas of their new adventure. He believes that, with his team members Kelly and Wendy along with the SAGE team, his clients, whether selling or buying, have the best service in the area!
