When I was condo shopping 6 years ago, I only viewed a few units before I viewed this one, but my immediate gut intuition told me THIS was the one. I loved the unique factor and avoiding the typical cookie cutter shoe box in the sky (no offence to anyone). I was also eyeing 2 story lofts in particular, and I can tell you, I did not find any others this close to the financial district and city center.

Some things I will miss the most about this loft include:

1. having a glass of wine on the balcony with a perfect view of the sunset over the skyline,

2. hosting friends and being showered in compliments (it’s not narcissistic if it’s the loft getting the compliments right?),

3. being a quick walk to all the action of Toronto, yet coming home to enter the peace and calmness of the east side,

4. the friendly neighbours and community feeling in Space Lofts (tip to the future owner: join the building’s facebook group to make connections in the building, buy/sell used furniture, share local business recommendations, etc.),

5. hosting company so comfortably (the open concept vibe connecting the kitchen, living room, and balcony gave lots of room and space for seating options and mingling, there’s free visitor parking spots, and guest suites when someone overstays their welcome), and

6. working from home in front of the windows, with all the natural light to stay awake, and a great view to look out at when the zoom calls get boring!
