First, a little about the way I work
So what makes me a little different? Well, I like to think a whole lot. For starters, I feel a lot of people have an image of what they expect a realtor to be … you know what I’m talking about … too “slick” for their own good, big “industry-speak” that makes them look good, extremely formal … This is not what I’m looking to be, nor who I am.
In professional relationships, it seems so often we lose sight of the fact that we are still just people who are dealing with one another. And that is where it starts with me. I feel that the desire for the old-school “suit and tie” professional has dwindled and that people are looking for somebody they can RELATE to while still being as knowledgable as anybody else out there.
This process can be stressfull and I want you to be comfortable. I want you to have somebody who can walk you through this whole process, and do so with a personal connection that makes you comfortable throughout … Oh … and humour. No better way to take the edge off than to be laughing through it. Don’t believe me? Check out the video below of one of my web-series episodes!
So now … why are there pictures of me with tigers and such? I traveled a bit of a different path to get here. I studied environmental biology at the University of Guelph and I spent 10 years working with BIIIIIIG animals. This involved research, training, care and enrichment with these animals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, this feeds into my more ‘adventurous’ side. If there’s a trill-inducing activity, you name it and I’ve probably done it. Most notably, the martial arts. I have been practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, boxing, and freestyle wrestling for the better part of 7 years. It’s a big part of life and the primary thing that helps keep me grounded between work hours.
Well, that’s a small snippet of me. Thanks for taking the time to read and I’d love to hear from you. I promise you won’t have a dull time if I do.
