Casa Loma is a very green neighbourhood. It includes Sir Winston Churchill Park, which has tennis courts, a childrens playground and a running path. Around this park is the Nordheimer Ravine, which has many trees and plants. There is also Wells Hill Park, which has a childrens wading pool. History.

Casa Loma was built in 1911 by Sir William Henry Mill Pellatt, a financier, industrialist and military man of the time. It took about 300 hundred men and three years to build Casa Loma, which was Henry’s dream home. The home cost him so much money and put him so far in debt that he eventually had to turn it over to the City of Toronto.
